  • Step 3 : On the homepage, navigate to the “Admit Card” or “Examination” section and look for the link related to “Combined Geo-Scientist (Main) Examination 2026 Admit Card”.
  • Step 4 : Click on the admit card download link to open the candidate login page.
  • Step 5 : Enter your Registration ID or Roll Number and Date of Birth in the designated fields. Ensure all details are entered correctly.

Exam Pattern for Mains Examination

  • The Combined Geo-Scientist (Main) Examination 2026 comprises three papers for each stream (Geology, Geophysics, Chemistry, Hydrogeology). All papers are descriptive type.
  • Each paper will be of 200 marks and 3 hours duration.
  • Candidates must choose their optional subjects during the application process and will be examined based on the chosen discipline.
  • The Mains exam evaluates a candidate’s in-depth knowledge, analytical ability, and clarity of expression in their respective specialized subjects.
